| Truly a vintage piece - all-sewn Caps jersey
made by Gerry Cosby Co. Has a few stains, but these babies are getting harder
and harder to find. Sadly, the new CCM Vintage Caps jerseys have the small
Caps patch (see my home
Caps) , not the large "Capitals" on the chest. The Caps wore this style
from their inception in the 74-75 season until 84-85. For 85-86, they made a
minor revision to the jersey : they reduced the number of chest stars from 6 to 4
and lowered them a few inches, just below the neck line. Customized with #24,
but no name. I have not been able to find who that was
(Do you know ?). Very nice jersey made of ultrafil material.
Feels like an authentic, but it's missing the double-elbows and fight strap.
25" chest 31" back 21" sleeve. Removed the #24 (Robert Picard) and now customized with #3 Scott Stevens (his
rookie number). SOLD ! |
