Cleveland Barons Road [Zoom]
Cleveland Barons Road Quality: Excellent
Sz Large (fits like an XL, however), made of mesh material, with embroidered crests on the chest and arms. I really like the "State of Ohio" patches on the arms. It's such a non-descript looking shape to use for a logo. The California Golden Seals moved to Cleveland in 1976, but the team only lasted 2 years, folding in 1978. They wore this style of jersey in 76-77 only, and then dropped the lovely "State of Ohio" arm patches in 77-78. This jersey is ground-zero of the collection. Made by Projoy. 25.5" chest, 29" back, 21" sleeve. SOLD

Colorado Rockies Road [Zoom]
Colorado Rockies Road Quality: Excellent
Sz XL. A superb jersey made of air knit material, with fabric crests Z-stitched on the chest and arms. This is one of my favorite jerseys - really good looking, and it's an excellent quality replica from Silvestri Sports. The Rockies were in the league from 1976 to 1982, when they moved to New Jersey to become the current-day Devils. 28" chest, 32" back, 22" sleeve.

Edmonton Oilers 80s Road [Zoom]
Edmonton Oilers 80s Road Quality: Fair
Sz Large. Maska brand jersey made of cotton-blend that was used from 81-82 to 95-96. Nice jersey, although it shows its age a bit. It's a little stretched out, and the white stripes have yellowed a bit. This is the kind of jersey Gretzky wore when winning all those cups with the Oil in the 80s. 22" chest, 30" back, 19" sleeve.

Kansas City Scouts Road [Zoom]
Kansas City Scouts Road Quality: Excellent
Sz XL. Another wonderful replica from Silvestri Sports. Same physical characteristics as the Colorado Rockies jersey. The KC Scouts jersey are very rare, even as replicas, since they only played 2 years in the NHL before folding. KC was only in the NHL from 1974 to 1976, before moving to Colorado and becoming the Rockies, another ill-fated franchise. 28" chest, 32" back, 22" sleeve.

San Jose Sharks Road [Zoom]
San Jose Sharks Road Quality: Fair
Sz Large. Butt-ugly jersey. Maybe the NHL marketing geniuses think teal belongs on a hockey jersey, but they're wrong (and I'm just the man to tell them!). Flimsy CCM replica with embroidered chest and shoulder crests. The jersey has a few pulls and has shrunk a bit from washing. 24" chest, 28" back, 21" sleeve. For sale

Chicago Black Hawks Alternate [Zoom]
Chicago Black Hawks Alternate Quality: Good
Sz Large, Starter brand. I thought this was nice looking jersey, I like the classic look of the Indian head. I suppose it's an oddity as well in that it's a good looking third jersey - most of them are horrid (think Boston Teddy bear). Embroidered Indian head and shoulder tomahawks, Starter made nice replicas. This one is shrunken a bit from washing. 23" chest, 28.75" back, 19.75" sleeve.

Pittsburgh Penguins 80s Road [Zoom]
Pittsburgh Penguins 80s Road Quality: Poor
Sz Large. This jersey is pretty wrecked - it has tons of pulls, it's shrunken quite a bit, and the chest logo is bubbling. It also has some silk-screened numbers (66 ? Who's that ?) that are completely inaccurate. It's too bad, because I really like the "cartoon" penguin. Thankfully, I didn't pay much for it ($10), but I'll be getting a better copy of this one sooner or later. By the way, I was glad to see Pittsburgh bring back the "Skating Penguin" on their Alternate jerseys. 23" chest, 26" back, 20" sleeve. For sale

Vancouver Canucks 70s Home [Zoom]
Vancouver Canucks 70s Home Quality: Excellent
Sz XL, made by CCM. Actually, this is not a jersey, but a sweater. I made a mistake when I ordered, but I liked it enough to keep it. It's part of the CCM Heritage series. I like the simplicity of this jersey - the 70s jerseys are quite a departure from some of the monstrosities we see today (Coyotes anyone?). It's made of a cotton/wool mix with a nice heavyweight felt logo. The Canuckleheads are one of my favorite teams. 24.5" chest, 31" back, 21" sleeve. SOLD

Washington Capitals 80s Home [Zoom]
Washington Capitals 80s Home Quality : Good
Sz L, old-style, but brand new CCM replica. A really nice looking jersey, however this replica has a few accuracy problems. First of all the, the Capitals logo is much smaller than one the real ones. Also, the stars are silk-screened on, not embroidered. Still, it's a nice jersey. 23.5" chest, 30" back, 22" sleeve. For sale

Hartford Whalers early 90s Road [Zoom]
Hartford Whalers early 90s Road Quality: Very Good
Sz XL. This is a bit of project - I got the blank jersey for very cheap, and I found a jersey crest for cheap as well. Now, all I need to do is enlist Stephanie to sew it on there ! It's made of pro air knit material. I'm quite pleased with this one : the dark blue Whalers jersey is VERY rare - they only wore it from 92-93 to 96-97 before moving to Carolina. Most of the Whalers jersey I see out there are the green ones. 25.5" chest, 30" back, 21" sleeve. SOLD !

Montreal Canadiens Road [Zoom]
Montreal Canadiens Road Quality: Fair
Sz Large. Yet another flimsy polyester CCM replica. A few pulls, and slightly mis-shapen from washing. Embroidered crest. My favorite team - I'll have to get a better quality replica (and sew on a 1993 Stanley Cup patch!). Go Habs Go! Forever Rocket. 22.5" chest, 26.5" back, 19" sleeve. Traded. I traded this jersey at the Ottawa Senators Jersey Redemption promo. By trading in a Habs jersey, they gave you 2 tickets to a future game, and a $15 rebate on a Sens shirt. They in turn donated the jerseys collected to a charity in Montreal.

Quebec Nordiques Road [Zoom]
Quebec Nordiques Road Quality: Excellent
Sz XL. As a kid growing up in Montreal, I *hated* the Nords, so I still can't believe I own this thing. However, it's a really nice CCM replica (for a change) from their 5100 series made with air knit material. It has an embroidered chest logo, with silk-screened fleur-de-lys. I still haven't forgiven them for 1982. D*mn you, Dale Hunter! 26.5" chest, 32.5" back, 22" sleeve. Now customized with #16 Goulet and the ultra-rare Rendez-Vouz '87 sleeve patch !

Ottawa Senators Home [Zoom]
Ottawa Senators Home Quality: Good
Sz XL. A decent quality CCM replica made of air knit material with an embroidered new style Centurion logo. It would get an excellent rating if it were not for missing shoulder patches. I'm sure I'll fix that sooner or later when I come across them on a wrecked jersey. The Senators are now my "home" team, and I only cheer against them when they play the Habs. They've contributed greatly to my Maple Leafs hatred, which has now reached new heights after the 2002 playoffs. (Someone asked : The old Centurion logo has the text "Ottawa Senators" around the edge. The new one has what looks like leaves). 25.5" chest, 30" back, 21.25" sleeve. Not for sale

Colorado Avalanche Alternate [Zoom]
Colorado Avalanche Alternate Quality: Excellent
Sz XL. KOHO replica with heat-sealed embroidered chest and shoulder patches. Another very nice looking Alternate jersey from the 01-02 season. I particularly like the lace-up neck. A sharp-looking "throwback" to an earlier era of jersey design. Well done ! 26" chest, 33" back, 22" sleeve.

Ottawa 67s (OHL) Barber Pole [Zoom]
Ottawa 67s (OHL) Barber Pole Quality: Good
Sz XL. A classic jersey design from my hometown junior team. Heat-sealed silk-screen logo (hence the quality of "good"). 26" chest, 32" back, 22" sleeve.NOT FOR SALE

Ottawa Senators Road [Zoom]
Ottawa Senators Road Quality: Fair
Sz Large. Another flimsy old CCM replica (their new replicas are much better.). Neat jersey with the old Centurion logo and shoulder patches. I'll be wearing this one to the games in the fall! Go Sens Go! 24" chest, 28" back, 19" sleeve. Not for sale

Philadelphia Flyers Road [Zoom]
Philadelphia Flyers Road Quality: Good
Sz XL. Nice quality Starter replica for this classic look jersey. The Flyers stopped wearing this jersey in 2001 (they've gone to the all black road jersey - maybe they think it's scary or something.) 24" chest, 28.5" back, 20" sleeve. For sale

Vancouver Canucks 90s Road [Zoom]
Vancouver Canucks 90s Road Quality: Good
Sz Large. I've gave up waiting for this one, so I found another one on eBay. The "lost" one was an XL, but this one is nice and roomy anyways. I really love this jersey, very sharp looking. Unfortunately, the logo on it is a little warped due to washing most likely. Starter Brand 24" chest 29.5" back 20.5 sleeve.

Dallas Stars 90s Road [Zoom]
Dallas Stars 90s Road Quality: Excellent
Worn from 93-94 to 98-99 when they arrived in Dallas from Minnesota. Really nice quality CCM replica with heat-sealed embroidered chest and shoulder patches. I always like those "state-shaped" shoulder patches. 25" chest 32.5" back 22" sleeve.

Ottawa Senators Promo jersey [Zoom]
Ottawa Senators Promo jersey Quality: Good
Sz L. Not an NHL jersey, but a very neat piece nonetheless. This jersey was used in promoting the return of the Senators to Ottawa, before they came up with their Centurion logo. Not 100% sure of the exact origin of this jersey, but it's silk-screened "#1 Royal Bank" on the back, and "Ottawa Senators" on the front. Adding to this shirt value, it's a g-e-n-u-i-n-e Trevor Boicey game-worn jersey. A few stick and puck marks, and a prominent ketchup mark attest to this jersey's origin. Do not look for Trevor's stats on Hockey DB. A little snug from washings (thankfully!). Thanks Trev! More info : Here's the story of the logo. Trevor forwarded this information to me found in a usenet post dated December 6 1990 "the logo contains the words Ottawa Senators, with the two t's in the word Ottawa forming an outline of the Peace Tower, which rises from the central block of the Canadian Parliament buildings. Both the clock in the peace tower and the Canadian flag atop it are depicted. Team colours, I believe, are Red, White, and Black." Here is the entire post. 23" chest 27.5" back 21" sleeve. Not for sale More pictures.

Pittsburgh Penguins early-mid 90s Road [Zoom]
Pittsburgh Penguins early-mid 90s Road Quality: Good
Sz XL. Worn from 92-93 to 96-97. Yet another Pittsburgh jersey style - between the Canucks and the Penguins, I could be collecting for year! I really like this style much better than their current one, I like the throwback quality of this one. Size-wise, I don't know what the deal is with Starter - it seems they all fit differently. 23.5" chest 29" back 21" sleeve.

Pittsburgh Penguins Home [Zoom]
Pittsburgh Penguins Home Quality: Good
Sz XL. Nothing too fancy about this one, it's their current home style. Rumour has it that Pittburgh will have new ones this year. I got this jersey along with the road jersey for a pretty good deal, but it needs to have a corner of the logo sewn back up. 26" chest 31.5" back 22" sleeve. Update: They did get new shirts for the 2002-03 season : they brought back the awesome Skating Penguins, and used gold trim instead of yellow. Looks pretty sharp, actually. So this shirt is officialy now vintage. It's still boring, sadly.

Montreal Canadiens Road [Zoom]
Montreal Canadiens Road Quality: Excellent
Sz XL. Aaaah, that's more like it. A huge nice quality replica that will be perfect for my 1993 Stanley Cup patch. I'm also considering getting it customized with a "#21 Carbonneau", my favorite player of that time. 27" chest 32" back 22" sleeve.

NY Islanders Fisherman Road [Zoom]
NY Islanders Fisherman Road Quality: Excellent
Sz XL. One of the more ridiculed jersey of recent times, the "Captain Highliner" Islanders jersey. They only wore it for a year and half and went back to their old logo. When you look at it, you can almost hear the Captain going "aaaaarh, matey". 28" chest 32" back 18" sleeve.SOLD!

LA Kings Black Road Authentic [Zoom]
LA Kings Black Road Authentic Quality: Excellent
Sz 52. My first authentic jersey complete with fight strap. This one begs to be customized to honor Marty McSorley's illegal stick in game 2 of the 1993 finals, the pivotal moment in the serie which turned the tide in favor of my beloved Habs. I wonder if anyone managed to get that stick after the game - that would be a superb collection piece. I don't think I'd want to ask Marty about it, tho. 26" chest 31" back 22" sleeve. Now customized with #99 Gretzky and the 1993 Stanley Cup final patch

Buffalo Sabres Blue and Gold Road [Zoom]
Buffalo Sabres Blue and Gold Road Quality: Excellent
Sz L. Description coming soon. 25" chest 31" back 22" sleeve.

LA Kings 95-96 Alternate [Zoom]
LA Kings 95-96 Alternate Quality: Excellent
Sz L. The infamous "Burger King" jersey ! The Kings only wore this jersey for one season, and gutlessly retired it. Frankly, I don't understand the problem, I think it looks pretty good, and certainly shows some imagination. Being a 1 year wonder, it's quite rare and fetches decent coin on eBay. I managed to sneak by a great deal on this one. I will be sending it off to get customized with #99 sometimes in the future. 26" chest 31" back 19"sleeve. Now customized with #99 Gretzky. Looks awesome ! SOLD !

Winnipeg Jets Road [Zoom]
Winnipeg Jets Road Quality: Excellent
Sz XL. CCM Heritage series. Description coming soon. 26" chest 32" back 22" sleeve.

Pittsburgh Penguins 80s Road [Zoom]

Atlanta Flames Road Quality: Awesome!
Sz XL. Description coming soon. 27.5" chest 33" back 21" sleeve. More pictures.

Tampa Bay Lightning 96-99 Alternate [Zoom]
Tampa Bay Lightning 96-99 Alternate Quality: Excellent
Sz XL. Made by CCM. Very sharp looking dye-sublimated alternate style that the Bolts wore from 96 to 99. I particularly like the lightning on the arms. Few teams do anything interesting on the arms, but that was a good one. One of my favorite jersey, for all the right reasons. 26" chest 30.5" back 22.5" sleeve SOLD!

California Golden Seals 70-74 Road [Zoom]
California Golden Seals 70-74 Road Quality: Excellent
Sz XL. The original jersey of the long gone California Golden Seals, infamous for trying to introduce white skates to the uniform. Initially known as the Oakland Seals when they joined the league in 1967, they changed jersey and name in 1970. More information on the Seals. The Seals moved to Cleveland (Barons) for the 1976-77 season, before folding permanently in 1978. The Seals were the first ones to use teal unis in 75 and 76. Hey, Sharks, it was a bad idea then, it's a bad idea now. Made by Projoy. 27" chest 33" back 19" sleeve SOLD !

Vancouver Canucks 85-89 Home [Zoom]
Vancouver Canucks 85-89 Home Quality: Excellent
Sz XL. Oooh, boy. This was the "improvement" over the infamous Flying Vee shirt of the early 80s. Was it any better ? Not really. The picture doesn't do justice to this jersey - I think my digital camera is incapable of capturing the exact shade of yellow they used. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it might glow in the dark, too. On the upside, it's a fantastic jersey to wear around Halloween. The Canuckleheads certainly hired some color-blind jersey designers in the 80s. Needless to say, I love it ! Made by CCM. 27" chest 28" back 22" sleeve. Now customized with #16 Linden

Vancouver Canucks 78-85 Home [Zoom]
Vancouver Canucks 78-85 Home Quality: Excellent
The infamous "Flying V" jersey - without a doubt the ugliest jersey in hockey history, and arguably all of sports. CCM Vintage Line replica. 26" chest 32" back, 22" sleeve.SOLD !

Vancouver Canucks 70-72 Road [Zoom]
Vancouver Canucks 70-72 Road Quality: Excellent
Ultra-rare "Rink and stick" Canucks jersey, all-sewn, with Vs on the arm. They only wore this style for the 70-71 and 71-72s season, and then dropped the arm Vs. It sports the Captain's C, and #25, in honor of the, uh, "legendary" Canucks Captain, Orland Kurtenbach. Replica made by Projoy, heavy mesh. 26" chest 33.5" back 22.5" sleeve. SOLD

Washington Capitals 74-85 Road [Zoom]
Washington Capitals 74-85 Road Quality: Great
Truly a vintage piece - all-sewn Caps jersey made by Gerry Cosby Co. Has a few stains, but these babies are getting harder and harder to find. Sadly, the new CCM Vintage Caps jerseys have the small Caps patch (see my home Caps) , not the large "Capitals" on the chest. The Caps wore this style from their inception in the 74-75 season until 84-85. For 85-86, they made a minor revision to the jersey : they reduced the number of chest stars from 6 to 4 and lowered them a few inches, just below the neck line. Customized with #24, but no name. I have not been able to find who that was (Do you know ?). Very nice jersey made of ultrafil material. Feels like an authentic, but it's missing the double-elbows and fight strap. 25" chest 31" back 21" sleeve. Removed the #24 (Robert Picard) and now customized with #3 Scott Stevens (his rookie number). SOLD !

Vancouver Canucks 90s Road [Zoom]
Vancouver Canucks 90s Road Quality: Unknown
Lost in the mail, hopefully it'll turn up, but I've lost hope. I'm keeping it in the database as a bitter reminder.
